Search Engine Techniques Blog has been successfully going on. There has been some nice articles in the beginning. But for the past few days there has been no such posts though. The authors are found to be busy and it has been a little trouble in managing the system.
Also the authors of this blog has an idea moving to their own domains rather than sticking to the blogspot sub domain and it is the right time for it. Hence they have decided to go in a new self hosted Wordpress blog. Yes it has been created and its live.

It now not only discusses about Search Engine Optimisation and its Techniques. It discusses about more news about the Internet and Social Networks. It discusses about the updates in search industry as soon as it happened. There is also a category called Off Topic which can discuss more about other than Internet.

Recent Updates in Internet Marketing Field
It is a must one for every field to change over time and the field of Internet is changing often and each change creates greats impacts on many fields. Recently some major updates happened in Internet that caused great impact on Search Engine Marketing and Social Networking.
Microsoft Releases Bing:
Microsoft formerly depend on its search engine called Live. Previously it was called msn. As a recent update of its search technology it released Bing,the new search engine to compete with other two key players Google and Yahoo!. Its been found in results that Bing performs better than its former versions MSN and Live. So there arose a assumption that it may outrank Google who is a leader in online search. Also it has been found that people started using Bing next to Google than Yahoo! which lead to the another historic event.
Google released the announcement of Google OS:
As Google, already released its own browser,Google Chrome,last year, it has already made the market of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Now Google targets the Microsoft's core Windows operating system by releasing Google Chrome OS. It has made announcement that it will be released next year, and initially available for netbooks. It has said that the OS will be secure and faster. So now Microsoft has to do another move to overcome Google's move.
Battle Continues: Bing+Yahoo! historic deal
There was a long discussion between Microsoft and Yahoo for joining hands and compete Google. Yahoo once tried to partner with Google and it ultimately failed. So people was curious in this deal and it finally happened. The key concepts of this deal are:
1.Bing will power search of Yahoo!]
2.While Yahoo will take care of the advertising programs of Bing,adCenter.
3.The deal is for ten years.
4.The revenue will be shared between two depending on the indivual revenue they earn.
The move that targeted Google has not seem to make any much differnce while Google leads the charts yet.

For meeting the deal its competitors did, Google came up with a move of making a update of its core technology of searching. It releases the Caffeine update and now available for testing here. Users can say their feedbacks and Google says it is currently in testing. As caffeine update doesn't shows any UI update,Google announced it has different and better infrastructure to help the users in searching and also to produce accurate results. Researchers have found that it produces more accurate and real time results than Google itself.
Facebook acquires Friedfeed:
While
there was a great competition between search engines, the leading social networking site Facebook acquires Friendfeed to top the market than twitter, myspace and orkut.
Future of Twitter:
Twitter has now become the real time network that updates status in 140 characters limit and its evolving day by day and its users are increasing. It has made that many other sites now wish to acquire it and its not been finalised. So if it happens the site that acquires it may top all others.
